Is this actually free? ▾
Yes, 100% free for renters. We're paid a referral fee by the apartment community when you sign a lease. That fee is built into the property's marketing budget — it doesn't increase your rent or come out of your pocket.
How is this better than searching on Zillow or Apartments.com? ▾
Those sites show you everything — we show you what actually fits. Instead of sorting through hundreds of listings, you get a curated shortlist from someone who knows the local market. We also have access to deals and availability not always reflected on public listing sites.
When should I reach out? ▾
Ideally 60–90 days before your target move-in date. This gives us time to find the right properties, schedule tours, and get an application in before availability disappears. That said, we've helped people move in as fast as 2 weeks — reach out whenever you're ready.
What markets do you cover? ▾
We currently cover Austin, TX and Atlanta, GA. We're expanding to more markets soon. If you're in a city we don't cover yet, reach out anyway — we may still be able to help or point you in the right direction.
What information do you need from me? ▾
Budget, desired neighborhood or part of the city, move-in date, number of bedrooms, and any must-haves (pets, WFH space, gym, etc.). The more context you give us, the better we can match you.
What income requirements do apartments typically have? ▾
Most apartment communities require gross income of at least 3x the monthly rent. For example, a $1,500/month apartment typically requires $4,500/month gross income. If your income doesn't meet requirements, a co-signer is usually an option.
I have pets — can you still help? ▾
Absolutely. We'll filter for pet-friendly properties upfront. Just let us know the breed and weight — some communities have breed or weight restrictions, and we'll make sure we're only showing you places that will actually take your pet.
I'm relocating from out of state. Can you help? ▾
Yes — we do this regularly. We can arrange virtual tours and walk you through neighborhoods via video call. Many properties will approve applications remotely with proper documentation, so you can secure a place before you arrive.
What's the best time of year to find deals? ▾
November through February is typically when apartments offer the best specials — reduced rent, waived fees, or free months. Summer (May–August) is peak season and more competitive. If you have flexibility on timing, winter moves can save you real money.
